COLUMBUS, Ind. - WTIU is hosting a FREE one-time local showing of the documentary, "TIMELESS," about long-time Indiana University announcer Don Fischer, on Wednesday, September 2, at 6 p.m., at YES Cinema, 328 Jackson Street, in downtown Columbus.
Following the screening, an additional program will feature footage and the story of the 1975-76 undefeated men’s basketball team, which went on to win the National Championship.
Fans can also enjoy a meet-and-greet with IU’s mascot, Hoosier the Bison, in the lobby before the films. Admission is free, with concessions, beer, and wine available for purchase.
YES Cinema is your Cinema with a Cause, owned and operated by the Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center, with all proceeds benefiting programming provided through the nonprofit.
