Weather closes one road; several highways have high water

COLUMBUS, Ind. - UPDATE: 9:40 AM: Water has receded from roadways. No closures due to high water or downed lines at this time.

In the aftermath of the recent storms, Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM) reported several roads with high water on Monday morning. Officials also announced that S. Wolfcreek Road at W. Youth Camp Road was closed due to downed power lines.   

Here are the areas with high water as of 9:15 on Monday morning:   

  • E. State Road 7 at U.S. 31
  • E. State Road 7 at S. County Road 450E
  • S. Wolfcreek Road at W County Road 50S
  • S. Jonesville Road at E. County Road 650S
  • N. County Road 525E at E. Base Road
