Vernon Gym restoration open house is Feb. 11

VERNON, Ind. - The Town of Vernon welcomes the public to an open house for the new space at the Vawter Recreational Center (old Vernon Gym) on Wednesday, February 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Over the last two years, Vernon has received several grants that assisted in the renovation and restoration of the historic Vernon High School to create a welcoming multi-use facility and community center.

Town officials want residents and area visitors to see the new spaces and amenities now available in Vernon at the open house on February 11. Refreshments will be available.
