Our Hospice collects $110K at Labor Day weekend concert

COLUMBUS, Ind. - This year's Our Hospice Concert returned to the Bartholomew County Public Library on Saturday, September 5, for an afternoon of music benefiting Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Community partners, raffle participants, sponsors, benefactors, and attendees raised over $110,000 for Our Hospice patients and their loved ones.

The 40th Annual Our Hospice Concert came back to the library steps in downtown Columbus, where the tradition began in 1987. Local favorites 40 Years of College and 3 Beards Strummin' performed during the free outdoor event.

Students from Columbus East Center Stage sang the national anthem, and C4 culinary students prepared pre-concert food for sponsors and band members. Longtime Our Hospice supporter Hutch Schumaker served as emcee. Tracy Price won the $10,000 raffle.

“Celebrating 40 years back at the library steps made this year’s concert especially meaningful,” said Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice. “For four decades, this concert has brought our community together around our mission to 'Make Every Moment Count.' We are grateful to everyone who made this milestone possible.”
