SEYMOUR, Ind. - The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of South Central Indiana launches its "Family to Family" program, an eight-session educational course designed to support the loved ones of adults living with mental health conditions this Monday evening.
The sessions will run every Monday from October 5 through November 23, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Jackson County Learning Center, 323 Dupont Drive, in Seymour.
Led by trained family members who have personal experience with mental health challenges, this evidence-based curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
Participants will also gain practical skills in communication, problem-solving, and advocacy, all while learning strategies to maintain their own well-being.
