Man jumps off overpass onto I-74 in Greensburg

GREENSBURG, Ind. - The Greensburg Police Department responded to a report of an injured male on Interstate 74, near the 132-mile marker, just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses advised Decatur County Communications that the man had jumped off the overpass.

Police identified him, but his name is not being disclosed at this time.    

I-74 was closed for a short time at this location while the Greensburg Fire Department and Decatur County EMS rendered aid.

The injured male was later transported from the scene by Lifeline ambulance to a trauma facility in Indianapolis.
