FRANKLIN, Ind. - Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County recently announced Carissa Long as its next executive director, effective Feb. 9.
She succeeds Lee Ann Wilbur, who is retiring after 15 years of service leading the organization.
Long brings more than 18 years of nonprofit leadership experience to the role. Since 2023, she has served as the associate executive director of the Indiana State Bar Association, the state's largest legal organization.
During her time at ISBA, she served in various roles, including director of public relations and director of membership.
She holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, a national designation recognizing expertise in nonprofit governance and leadership.
