JCIDC plans 'Career Expo' for September

SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation (JCIDC) is partnering with the Jackson County Learning Center for the "Career Expo" on September 2 at the Learning Center, 323 Dupont Drive, in Seymour.

The Career Expo is an opportunity for local companies to educate the public about current/future employment opportunities and what their company does. It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3 to 6 p.m.

Entities offering employment support, training, and higher education will also be there. Employment support includes child care and transportation.

Companies interested in participating should RSVP by emailing zachspicer@jcidc.com by Aug. 26.

The community is invited to attend. A computer lab will be available for help with applications and information.
