EDINBURGH, Ind. - Edinburgh Fire and Rescue recently received a donation from the Shelbyville Fire Department. The gift was the Shelbyville Fire Department's old boat, motor, and trailer.
This boat is a valuable addition to the department’s resources and will help Edinburgh Fire and Rescue better serve the community during water-related emergencies and training.
MA Metal Stamping and Assembly of Edinburgh donated the paint, supplies, and manpower to completely refresh the boat and trailer.
An Edinburgh Fire and Rescue spokesperson said, "It takes great partnerships to build a stronger fire service. We are incredibly thankful to both Shelbyville Fire Department and MA Metal Stamping & Assembly for supporting the Edinburgh Fire Department and our community."
