COLUMBUS, Ind. — The City of Columbus is moving forward with infrastructure improvements at Fire Station No. 3 following action by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
Board members voted to award a $340,800 contract to Southern Roofing Inc. to install a new 20-year roof system at the Gladstone Avenue facility.
City Engineer Andrew Beckort presented the bid proposal, recommending the alternate 20-year system option to ensure long-term coverage and durability for the municipal structure.
Work on the facility is expected to proceed following final administrative coordination.
