City offices closed Friday, Monday with trash pickup on schedule; County offices closed Friday

COLUMBUS, Ind. - City of Columbus and Bartholomew County officials announce that all of their offices will be closed this Friday, July 3, to commemorate the Independence Day holiday. County offices will reopen Monday, July 6, while City offices remain closed that day and reopen on Tuesday, July 7.

The Friday closures include Columbus City Utilities, the Bartholomew County Landfill, and the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center.

Columbus curbside trash and recycling collection will go on as usual on both days, with no delays.

If there is a problem with your water or sewer service during the holiday weekend, Columbus City Utilities advises, "Call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts."
