GREENWOOD, Ind. - Center Grove High School (CGHS) has named its Top 20 Students in the Class of 2026. The students were honored during a dinner and ceremony on Thursday, May 7.
One elementary or middle school teacher and one high school teacher who inspired each student during their academic career were invited to join them at the dinner.
The Top 20 CGHS students of 2026 are Scarlett Brink, Katie Clingerman, Saul Greenwood, Will Hendel, Ella Horvath, Audrey Johnston, Mohammed Khan, Braden Komlanc, Kalli Laird, Sophia LaRocca, Adam Main, Ivy McClimon, Nathan Sequeira, Sloane Small, Aanya Srivastava, Jeffrey Sweeny, Andra Veleta, Kelli Wang, Niekos Whitney, and Ethan Zheng.
SEYMOUR, Ind. - A two-vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver claimed three lives on I-65 near Seymour early Sunday morning, August 23. Shortly after 2:30 a.m., a caller reported a head-on crash on southbound I-65 in Jackson County, about one mile south of Seymour.

FRANKLIN, Ind. - Phase 1 of the Graham Road project in Franklin begins on or after Monday, August 24. The contractor says Graham Road will be fully reconstructed from Earlywood Drive to Paul Hand Boulevard, and the bridge over Canary Creek will be replaced.
