Camp Atterbury 'Community Day' is June 13

EDINBURGH, Ind. - Camp Atterbury and the Indiana National Guard invite everyone to "Community Day" on Saturday, June 13, at Camp Atterbury, 3008 Old Hospital Rd., in Edinburgh.

Gates open at 7:45 a.m. for the 5K walk/run participants. The 5K walk/run, on a paved and gravel course, begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration is required for this event, and you can sign up here.

Here's the schedule for the rest of Community Day, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:   

  • Kids activities and games
  • Live animals from Muscatatuck
  • Military equipment displays
  • Bus tours of the post
  • Performances by the 38th Infantry Division rock band, "Hoosier Havoc"
  • Food vendors will be on site
