BCSC educator is finalist for 'Indiana Teacher of Year'

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) congratulates 2025 BCSC Teacher of the Year Amelia Shaw on being named a Top 10 Finalist for the Indiana Department of Education’s 2027 Indiana Teacher of the Year.

Shaw teaches German at both Columbus East and Columbus North High Schools.

Amelia continues to represent BCSC and the educators who serve the students each day, and deserves this statewide recognition.

BCSC has had a teacher honored as a finalist in the Indiana Top 10 for the past four years.
