Bartholomew County seniors get free mulch on March 18, 25

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management (BCSWM) district will host "Free Senior Mulch and Compost Loading" on the last two Wednesdays of this month.

Seniors can bring their truck or trailer on March 18 and 25, from 8 a.m. to noon, and receive one free scoop of either mulch or compost.

Go to the Yard Waste site at 720 S. Mapleton St., adjacent to the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, for your free scoop. Mulch and compost loading is reserved for Bartholomew County residents.
