Bargersville 'Community Connect' is available to residents, businesses

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The Bargersville Fire Department (BFD) invites local families and businesses to sign up for "Community Connect." The program helps build a better town through prevention, preparedness, and response.

The initiative is more than just an alert system; Community Connect also enables residents to share vital information about their home in the event of an emergency. This may include details such as medical needs, mobility concerns, pets, or access information, helping BFD crews respond more effectively when seconds matter.

This information is only available to responding personnel when dispatched to your address and can help firefighters, paramedics, and emergency responders better serve you during an emergency. Signing up is free and only takes a few minutes.

Bargersville Fire Department officials said, “We encourage all residents and business owners to sign up for Community Connect and ensure their information is current. Helping us stay informed — and helping us better serve you — keeps our community safer.”
