SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Seymour Police Department (SPD) arrested two Jackson County men near Bennett Street on drug charges on Saturday, March 21.
Officers responded to a call in the 1000 block of Bennett Street in Seymour, about several dogs running at large. While speaking with the owner, SPD noticed the odor of burning marijuana coming from a garage at the location. Police obtained a search warrant for the location.
During the search. officers allegedly located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug-related items. As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey Breedlove, 62, of Seymour, was charged with possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Joseph Howard, 43, of Medora, was booked for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
Both were transported to the Jackson County Jail.
