SEYMOUR, Ind. – Jackson County United Way and the Jackson County Public Library have announced that they are again offering a free tax preparation program.
The opportunity provides free income tax preparation services to families and individuals with a household income of $66,000 or less. Over the last 10 years, the Free Income Tax Assistance Program has helped nearly 3,000 Jackson County residents reclaim over $2.3 million.
“We’re proud to have worked for a decade with United Way to help people across Jackson County benefit from this valuable free service,” said Julia Aker, Jackson County Public Library Director. “We are grateful to the United Way volunteers.”
