COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus East High School student Shai Brantly is hosting the “Doggone 5K Fun Run/Walk” to help the Adoption Medical Fund of Columbus Animal Care Services on Saturday, January 11, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Runners and walkers may run with their own dog, or Animal Care Services can provide one for you but you must register online. A limited number of canines are available. Registration is $30 per person which includes a long-sleeved shirt, or $15 per person without a shirt. After January 3, the cost is $20.
After the “Doggone 5K Fun Run,” participants are welcome to stay and learn about adopting a dog.
