COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department is warning residents that McKinley Avenue between Brooks Street and Woodlane Drive will be closed due to a traffic collision that broke a telephone pole.
At 10:45 a.m this morning, A vehicle with a 23-year-old male driver left the roadway, struck a telephone pole, and then a nearby porch. The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
CPD expects the roadway to be closed for several hours while crews repair the pole and will update their Facebook when the road is back open.
