COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Flood Advisory is in effect for portions of central and south central Indiana, including the following counties in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Decatur, and Shelby. In south-central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, and Monroe until 10 a.m. this morning.
At 352 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring, including minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
