NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) arrested three people in Country Squire Lakes after obtaining an arrest warrant on Wednesday, August 27.
Deputies entered an address on Ascot Court in Country Squire Lakes to serve a Jennings County Circuit Court Arrest Warrant and located the male subject, identified as Dustin Patterson, 39, of North Vernon, hiding inside a closet. Two more individuals, Eric Armstrong, who was the homeowner, and Wendy Forwalt, who resides at the residence as well, were located inside the residence and were detained.
During a search of the residence, Deputies located over 70 Fentanyl filled capsules, Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, packaging material, and digital scales. All three individuals were transported to the Jennings County Jail, where they were remanded to Jail Staff on the following preliminary charges:

- Dealing in a Narcotic Drug- Level 2 Felony
- Possession of a Narcotic Drug over 28 Grams- Level 3 Felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine- Level 6 Felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance- Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Paraphernalia- C Misdemeanor
Wendy Forwalt-
- Dealing in a Narcotic Drug- Level 2 Felony
- Possession of a Narcotic Drug over 28 Grams- Level 3 Felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine- Level 6 Felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance- Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Paraphernalia- C Misdemeanor
