COLUMBUS, Ind. -City of Columbus and Bartholomew County officials remind residents that all of their offices will be closed this Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day. This includes Columbus City Utilities, Bartholomew County Landfill, and Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center.
There will be no trash or recycling pickups on Memorial Day. All collections will run one day behind for the remainder of the week, with normal Friday collection on Saturday, May 31. City officials urge you to have your toters out by 7 a.m.
If you have a problem with your water or sewer service during the holiday weekend, Columbus City Utilities says you should call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
