BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – The Jackson County Chamber hosted the 94th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, at Pewter Hall in Brownstown. The theme for the evening was “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
Highlights of the dinner featured a year in review, a look ahead for the Jackson County Chamber, and the presentation of Chamber Awards and Jackson County Visitor Center Awards.
Awards were given out honoring businesses, teachers, and hospitality. Below is the list of the 2025 Chamber Award winners.
Business Hall of Fame:
- Small Business of the Year – Hearts Desire Gift Shop
- Medium Business of the Year – Christensen Family Funeral Home
- Large Business of the Year – BSM Groups
- Committee Member of the Year – Tiffiny Mansfield
- Young Professional of the Year – Emily Engelking
- Spirit of the Chamber – Guardian Bikes
The 2025 Teacher of the Year awards recognized outstanding educators in Jackson County:
- Elementary School – Ashley Spicer (Crothersville Elementary)
- Middle School – Erin Bauer (Seymour Middle School)
- High School – Kevin Gwin (Brownstown Central) and Jerrell Hubbard (Seymour)
The Jackson County Visitor Center presented three special hospitality awards:
- Heart of Hospitality Award – Dana Christian
- Community Impact in Hospitality Award – Sprague Hotel Developers
- Smalltown Hospitality Excellence Award – Seth and Tonya Pacey
