COLUMBUS, Ind. – Schools and local businesses are not the only places being affected by the winter weather. Many area hospitals and healthcare providers have started changing hours and canceling procedures.
Columbus Regional Health (CRH) closed all practices not located in the main hospital building on Monday, January 6. CRH also canceled all elective and non-emergent surgeries and outpatient procedures on Monday. Most services reopen on Tuesday. Get more details here.
At Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) in Franklin, the Immediate Care Center, 2085 Acorn Blvd., opened late at 11 a.m. All other practices were closed on Monday. JMH Outpatient Oncology and Hematology were accepting virtual visits. Regular hours are scheduled to resume on Tuesday. Find more information, here.
On Monday, Schneck Medical Center in Seymour closed its Cancer Center and all physician practices, including Schneck Family Care locations in Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties. Scheduled surgeries and procedures will take place. Patients who feel they cannot safely travel should contact their surgeon’s office.
