COLUMBUS, Ind. – In its inaugural Crimson Pride Open, IU Columbus invites the surrounding community to run the CERA Land 5K or 8K cross country course in support of local college athletes.
“We would love for local teams and running clubs, as well as any exercise enthusiasts, to run alongside our varsity athletes on our beautiful home course,” said IU Columbus Head Cross Country Coach Tim Hoeflinger.
The race begins at 6 p.m. this Sunday, October 11. The entry fee is $20 for the 5K or 8K course and all proceeds from the event will support the IU Columbus men’s and women’s cross-country teams.
