COLUMBUS, Ind. – The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides local, in-depth, and objective insurance counseling and assistance to Medicare-eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers.
Expert counselors from Thrive Alliance will hold one-on-one SHIP counseling sessions on October 23, from 8 to 11:30 a.m., in the Mill Race Center conference room, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus.
Consultants provide guidance based on participants’ unique situations and help them understand their choices, how to enroll, compare plans, coverage and costs, prescription coverage options, paying for Medicare, open enrollment (October 15 to December 7), and more.
