NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office reported on Wednesday that members of its Special Response Team and Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at 303 Laurel St., in North Vernon.
The investigation was initiated when law enforcement obtained information that Shey Richardson, 27, of North Vernon, was allegedly involved in the distribution and sale of narcotic drugs.
Narcotics detectives went to the residence and found Richardson, along with Dillon Steinert, 24, of Butlerville. During a search, detectives say they located 14.5 grams of suspected Fentanyl, seven grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia.
Both Richardson and Steinert were arrested and transported to the Jennings County Jail.
