FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has taken a woman into custody after the shooting incident on County Road 625E, in Franklin, on Monday, February 5.
Alicia Marie Haupt, 33, of Franklin has been arrested on the preliminary charges of Attempted Murder, Auto Theft, and Pointing a Firearm. She is incarcerated at the Johnson County Jail.
Sheriff Duane Burgess says a probable cause affidavit will be sent to the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office for review and formal charges.
The victim, Jacob Pascal Harville, 35, of Franklin, remains at St. Francis Hospital in serious condition.
Detectives are still collecting evidence and information as the investigation is ongoing.
