COLUMBUS, Ind. — Former Bartholomew County Prosecutor Bill Nash was sentenced to probation Thursday stemming from an incident this past summer.
Nash pleaded guilty to two Class B misdemeanors of disorderly conduct and harassment. Seven other charges, including felonies for intimidation and obstruction of justice, were dismissed as part of a plea bargain.
The other misdemeanor charges dismissed included intimidation, interference in the reporting of a crime, and three other harassment charges.
Special Judge Gary Smith sentenced Nash to 180 days for each misdemeanor that is to be served consecutively.
The former prosecutor will serve probation on an “informal basis” meaning he will not have to report to probation officials as part of the sentence, as reported by the Republic.
