SEYMOUR, Ind. — The Jackson County Public Library Board of Trustees on Monday held a public hearing concerning the 2023 budget at its regularly scheduled meeting at the Seymour Library. The library’s proposed 2023 operating fund budget is $2,898,350.
During the meeting, the board heard a report from Head of Youth Services Lola Snyder, approved a staff appointment, and got an updated report on branch facilities costs with the recent increase in hours at both Crothersville and Medora. Board members are to complete a self-evaluation and office/committee interest form before the October meeting.
The board’s next meeting, the adoption of the 2023 budget, is at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17, at the Seymour Library.
