SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) arrested two men over the weekend for child molesting.
On September 9, police received information that a wanted man who was previously arrested twice for child molestation was in the 600 block of Centennial St. The wanted man, Tyler Jolly Fisher, 22, of Seymour, was wanted on a Jackson Circuit Court Warrant for failing to appear for a hearing, according to SPD’s C.J. Foster.
Fisher was originally arrested for child molesting on June 1. He posted bond and was arrested again on July 2 on a separate incident of child molesting. The suspect posted bond a second time and then did not show up to court for a hearing, so the failure to appear warrant was issued. Fisher was arrested and jailed last Friday.
In yet another incident, on August 8 officers took a complaint in reference to a six-year-old who was allegedly molested. The child was later forensically interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Bloomington. On Saturday, the suspect, Jose Ernesto Bonilla Gomez, 33, of Seymour, was interviewed at SPD. He was then arrested on one count of child molesting and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
