COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center is instituting new days of operation beginning next month. Effective June 13, the new hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Recycling is available on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bartholomew County Landfill, 811 East County Road 450S, in Columbus.
Bartholomew County residents may also recycle on Saturdays at the Harrison Township Convenience Site, on Old Nashville Road, or in Petersville, on 25th Street. Both sites are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
