NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana Department of Child Services initiated an investigation last month into alleged sexual abuse by a Jennings County man involving a child.
During the inquiry, it was discovered that there was possibly more than one victim within the home. It was determined that the alleged victims were all foster children.
Lamar J. Yoder, 30, of Butlerville, the alleged suspect, was interviewed regarding the case on Wednesday, May 18. At the conclusion of the questioning, the suspect was arrested for three felony counts of child molesting.
Yoder was booked into the Jennings County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
All children involved were relocated to another location during the initial part of the investigation.
