BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – Nightly lane closures are scheduled to begin on both northbound and southbound Interstate 65, on Friday, September 27, so that the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) can perform lane and shoulder resurfacing between mile markers 64 and 65.
Maintenance will take place on that stretch of the expressway, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., on three nights as part of the I-65 reconstruction and added travel lanes project in Jackson and Bartholomew Counties. INDOT says lane closures are scheduled for Friday, September 27, Monday, September 30, and Tuesday, October 1.
The entire I-65 reconstruction project is expected to be completed by August 2020.
