NEW WHITELAND, Ind. – Firefighters from the New Whiteland Fire Department, along with assistance from the Greenwood, Bargersville, and White River Township Fire Departments, responded to a residential blaze on Saturday night.
The house was located on Harvest Meadow Way, just north of County Road 600N, east of U.S. 31.
Quick thinking by the homeowners in closing their bedroom door after noticing the flames eliminated the chance of even more damage to the residence.
The New Whiteland Fire Department reported no injuries. No damage estimate was released.
