COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Our Hospice Concert over the Labor Day weekend, which featured the 80s rock group, Survivor, nearly hit the organization’s fundraising goal of $125,000 this year. An estimated 7,500 people who attended the event at Mill Race Park donated money and bought raffle tickets which helped Our Hospice of South Central Indiana raise a total of $124,000.
“We elevated our goal this year and were aiming to raise $125,000,” commented Laura Leonard, Our Hospice President. “We consider $124,000 a great success. We had near-perfect weather to enjoy the 33rd summer concert in a beautiful outdoor setting.”
Almost 4800 raffle tickets were sold and the grand prize winner of $10,000 was Marvin Scott
