JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – On Monday morning, Indiana State Police responded to a single vehicle crash where a semi ran off the road and overturned on I-65 Northbound in Jackson County. The driver of the semi was arrested for operating while intoxicated, and the accident left the northbound lanes of I-65 closed for roughly eight hours according to State Police.
The initial investigation shows that the driver, James Murphy, was traveling northbound on I-65 near the 51 mile marker just north of Seymour when his semi left the east side of the roadway. The truck reportedly hit a guardrail before overturning east of I-65.
