SEYMOUR, Ind. – As Schneck Medical Center moves to normal operations, guidelines have been updated to ease restrictions on visitors to the hospital.
All visitors are required to complete a screening upon entering the facility. Once screened, they will receive a wristband to wear while in the building. Anyone with fever, chills, sore throat, cough, headache, and similar illnesses will not be permitted to visit patients.
All visitors to Schneck Medical Center, over the age of two years, are still required to wear a mask while in the facility and should practice social distancing.
Inpatient visitor guidelines vary for different patients. Visitors are not permitted in the isolation facility. End-of-life patients may have limited visitors, as determined by the nursing supervisor. For non-isolation patients, visitors are limited to two people at a time in most departments and must remain in the patient room throughout the visit.
