COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus at the intersection of Heights Court and State Street on Monday afternoon after school.
The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) released the following statement about the mishap.
“This afternoon, BCSC Bus #204 was involved in a crash while transporting students home from Columbus East High School. First responders confirmed that one student on the bus was injured in the crash. This student has been transported to Columbus Regional Hospital. The family of this student has been notified. All other students were transferred to another bus and delivered home.”
