NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Multiple of emergency crews including the Lovett Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire at the historical Hayden Corner store on 470 S County Rd 700 W in North Vernon at approximately 530 p.m. on Thursday, October 2.
This historical building was formerly the Hayden Post Office and Grocery Store, opened in the 1800s. It is unknown what caused the fire or the extent of the damage at this time.
