TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) has issued a Boil Water Advisory for portions of Wayne Township in southern Bartholomew County. The advisory was declared Tuesday evening and will remain in effect until Friday, June 27, at noon.
The affected area starts at the County Road 635S/County Road 100W intersection, and includes all Waynesville residents and anyone south and east of Jonesville.
Residents in Wayne Township should boil any water used for drinking or cooking for at least five minutes, and then let it cool before consumption. For more details on the EBWC Boil Water Advisory, call the water utility at 812-526-9777.
