NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) took a man and a woman into custody for domestic battery following a physical altercation on Monday, June 9.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on W. Hayden Pike. Upon arrival, they found several people involved. After an investigation, NVPD determined that a domestic battery had occurred.
As a result, Robert Brooks and Autumn Hood were arrested and transported to the Jennings County Jail. Each was charged with Felony Domestic Battery.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
