COLUMBUS, Ind – Thrive Alliance, Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, and Dementia Friendly Communities of Indiana are teaming up to offer a Memory Café to Columbus residents beginning this summer.
Each in the series of informal get-togethers is a supportive social gathering for those living with memory loss and their caregivers.
The Café will be open on the second Friday of every month from 1 to 2 p.m. at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, 2611 Fairlawn Dr., in Columbus. The first session is Friday, June 13, featuring a flower planting program.
Participants can share a snack, decorate flower pots, plant a flower to take home, and learn gardening tips.
