SEYMOUR, Ind. — Schneck Medical Center recently announced that Susan Zabor, MBA, MSN, BSN, FACHE, CSSBB, Vice President of Clinical and Provider Management and Chief Quality Officer, has earned the esteemed Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) credential, the premier mark of distinction for healthcare leaders.
The FACHE credential is awarded to healthcare professionals demonstrating a commitment to excellence through ongoing education, leadership, and ethical standards. It is recognized as a symbol of professional achievement and a testament to a leader’s dedication to improving healthcare delivery.
To earn the FACHE credential, candidates must complete a rigorous multi-step process, including meeting academic and experiential requirements, demonstrating professional and community involvement, and passing a comprehensive board examination.
Zabor began her career with Schneck in 1996 as a staff nurse. In 1998, she continued her nursing career as a staff nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Schneck in 2005. Since that time, she has held the positions of staff nurse, Quality Outcomes Coordinator, and Director of Lean Six Sigma & Organizational Projects.
