COLUMBUS, Ind. – Our Hospice, a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care in south central Indiana for 45 years, has announced the expansion of its services to include Personal Care. This new service line will complement Our Hospice’s existing offerings of Palliative Care and Hospice Care, providing additional caregiving options to enable clients to remain independent wherever they call home.
“Our Hospice has been a trusted partner in the community for nearly five decades,” said Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice. “Adding Personal Care allows us to provide a more holistic approach to care.”
Personal Care Program Manager Julie Davis will lead the Our Hospice Personal Care program. They are now taking client inquiries in Bartholomew County at ourhospice.org/personal-care/ or by calling Julie at 812-447-7500. Client care begins in early April. This program assists with daily living needs, allowing clients to remain safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible.
Their expertly trained caregivers can assist with:
- Bathing and grooming
- Dressing and toileting
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation to appointments
