INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana State Sen. Greg Walker (R) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Family and Children Services for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.
As a state senator, Walker serves portions of Johnson and Bartholomew Counties.
“It is an honor to continue my work as chair of the Senate Committee on Family and Children Services,” Walker said. “Our work in committees is important to the legislature as committee members are some of the first to understand what a bill is trying to accomplish if it becomes law.”

The 2025 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 19. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 8.

- Public Policy
