COLUMBUS, Ind. – A feature film titled “The Mastermind” plans to film scenes in and around Columbus next week. The scenes are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, October 29 and 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
Film crews are working with the Columbus City Engineering Department, Columbus Traffic Department, and Columbus Police Department (CPD)to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
Equipment setup is on Monday, but that will be with a limited crew. The full company will be in town on Tuesday.
Because of the production and filming of the motion picture, parking and street restrictions will be in place.
CPD will assist with traffic and pedestrian safety. The Fourth and Jackson Streets Parking Garage will offer free public parking on Monday, October 28, Tuesday, October 29, and Wednesday, October 30.
Closures:
- 5th Street, between Franklin and Pearl Streets
- Lafayette Street, between 4th and 5th Streets
Intermittent Closures:
- 4th Street, between Franklin and Lafayette Streets
- 7th Street, between Franklin and Pearl Streets
- Franklin Street, between 4th and 7th Streets
Parking:
- No on-street parking in and around these areas
- No parking in designated lots in and around these areas
- Parking restrictions will be posted 24 hours in advance
Film crews are asking for help with no loud noises like mowing or leaf blowing those days.
