VALLONIA, Ind. – A Jackson County tradition returns this weekend with the 55th Fort Vallonia Days Festival in downtown Vallonia, just off State Highway 135.
Nestled in the hills and woodlands of Jackson County, the fall festival offers visitors the beauty of all the colors that the season brings.
There will be many food, craft, and flea market vendors, along with demonstrations of spinning, quilting, braiding rugs, blacksmithing, and more. The Garrison House will be open for the public to walk through. The Fort Vallonia Museum near the fort will also be open.
The hours for the Fort Vallonia Days Festival are Friday, October 18 from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, October 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
