COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus is hosting Legacy of Leadership – Our Mayors Remember, a panel discussion featuring five recent Columbus mayors, at The Commons, this Wednesday, September 11.
The free event is at 6 p.m., with a hospitality hour preceding it at 5:00. Guests can enjoy food and a cash bar.
The City’s top elected officials, who have come from many walks of life, will share their stories and remember their challenges and successes.
Heritage Fund – The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County is the “Presenting Sponsor” and will cover the costs for the event.
The panel includes current Mayor Mary Ferdon, and former Mayors Nancy Ann Brown-Poynter, Fred Armstrong, Jim Lienhoop, and Deputy Mayor Sherry Stark (Robert Stewart Administration).
Each guest table at Legacy of Leadership – Our Mayors Remember will feature information about one of the former mayors who served the City since its founding year of 1821.
